Telemetri Vantage — Support
Last Updated: July 12th, 2026
Telemetri Vantage turns an iPad or iPhone into a live occupancy display for a space you manage. It is a display client for the Telemetri Cloud occupancy service: an active Telemetri Cloud account is required, and the display is provisioned from your organization's portal.
Getting started
1. Get a pairing code. An administrator signs in to your organization's Telemetri Cloud portal and adds a display — the portal shows a pairing code and QR.
2. Pair the device. Open Telemetri Vantage, then type the code on the "Pair this display" screen (or tap Scan QR code and point the camera at the portal's QR).
3. Done. The display begins showing live occupancy for the space assigned to it. Branding, theme, and settings are managed from the portal and update automatically.
Common questions
The display shows "—" instead of a number.
The occupancy for that space is currently unknown (for example, the source sensor is offline or no sample has arrived yet). The app deliberately never shows a misleading zero. The number returns automatically when data is available.
The display says "Reconnecting…".
The device can't reach the Telemetri Cloud service — usually Wi-Fi or internet interruption. The app keeps the last known count on screen and reconnects automatically; no action is needed. If it persists, check the device's network connection.
The count seems out of date.
A note such as "as of 14:32" appears whenever data isn't live. This clears on its own when fresh data arrives.
How do I switch which space is shown?
Long-press the header at the top of the display, enter your organization's settings PIN, and choose from the assigned spaces. If the selection is locked or a space is missing, your administrator manages this from the portal.
What is the settings PIN?
A PIN set by your organization's administrator in the Telemetri Cloud portal. It protects on-device settings on a display that's within the public's reach. If you don't know it, ask your administrator — it isn't set on the device itself.
How do I unpair a display?
Long-press the header → enter the settings PIN → Unpair this display → confirm with the PIN. Re-pairing requires a new code from the portal. Administrators can also revoke a display from the portal at any time.
Does the app collect personal data?
No. The app displays aggregate occupancy figures and collects no personal information — see the Privacy Policy (https://4ssecurity.com/app-privacy).
Which devices are supported?
iPhone and iPad. The app is designed to run all day as an always-on display (it keeps the screen awake while showing occupancy).
